I recently attended a birthday party for a 6 year old. I wracked my brain on what to get her. I usually get her art projects, but I know that they've been busy lately, and might not have time. I also wasn't sure what else a 6 year old would like. So I decided to make something for her wall!
It turned out great, but boy was it more work than I planned! I thought, what could be easier than wrapping yarn around a piece of cardboard? The straight-a-ways were just as easy as I thought. But, alas, I was creating a "J"!
The curve took for-ev-er.
I made sure to hot glue the edges every so often, on the backside.
Added a pretty ribbon, a beautiful bow, a bright button, and voila!
